As part of the ongoing Mission Indus Clean-up Movement (6th–12th August 2025), the Department of Education and the Department of Physical Education, University of Ladakh, jointly organized a Poster Making Activity on 6th August 2025 at Leh Campus Taruthang. The event was held at the campus canteen area, where students actively participated by preparing and displaying posters centered on the theme " Mission Indus Clean-Up Movement ". Mission Indus Clean-Up Movement is a flagship initiative of the UT Administration and LAHDC, Leh aimed at curbing pollution in the Indus River. The activity aimed to raise awareness among students and the larger campus community about the significance of maintaining the cleanliness of the Indus River, which is widely regarded as the lifeline of Ladakh. Through their posters, students creatively expressed their ideas and concerns about pollution, conservation, and the ecological importance of the Indus River. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Saket Kushwaha, graciously visited the display site and interacted with the student participants. He appreciated their enthusiastic participation and acknowledged their efforts in spreading awareness through art and creativity.
